Abstract:
The history of nursing is a cornerstone of the discipline's affirmation and development. Against a backdrop of growing workplace dissatisfaction, it allows us to reconnect with the profession's values, highlight its prominent figures, and recall the struggles that have fostered nurses' autonomy and recognition. Despite challenges related to sources and institutional support, this history remains an essential tool for strengthening both the identity and autonomy of the profession.
