Abstract:
This report presents the treatment of a 21-year-old patient suffering from severe Class II malocclusion, deep bite, anterior tooth fracture, and reduced vertical dimension of occlusion in a completely digital way. The treatment plan included cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), facial and intraoral scanning, virtual articulation, and computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD-CAM). The provisional restorations were made to test the planned vertical dimension and occlusal relationship prior to fabrication of the final zirconia restorations. One year after completion of the treatment process, no signs of biological and mechanical failure, as well as occlusal stability and good results of esthetic and functional rehabilitation were found.
