Abstract:
We construct a sequential dual-mode biosensor based on an alkaline phosphatase (ALP)-MOF-Fe2+-to-Prussian blue (PB) transformation system for sensitive detection of malathion (MLT). In the absence of MLT, in situ-generated PB yields an enhanced photothermal signal and a decreased fluorescence signal. In contrast, the presence of MLT induces the generation of a weakened photothermal signal and an enhanced fluorescence signal, with detection limits of 0.51 nM for the photothermal mode and 0.12 nM for the fluorescent mode. Moreover, this dual-mode biosensor exhibits excellent performance in complex sample analysis.
