Abstract:
Polarization modulation is an effective approach for developing electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorbing materials. However, it is still a challenge to enhance the polarization performance of composites by adjusting the components. Herein, a series of core-shell halloysite nanotubes (HNTs)@sulfides are synthesized via one-step hydrothermal treatment. The sulfide-modified composites have excellent dielectric loss and polarization loss, resulting in favorable EMW absorption performance. Among them, HNTs@MoS2 has an effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) of up to 6.02 GHz at a thickness of 2.12 mm. This paper proposes a technical strategy for achieving polarization modulation to develop efficient EMW absorbing materials.
