Abstract:
Idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIMs) are chronic autoimmune disorders affecting skeletal muscles, with pulmonary involvement in 30%-40% of cases. Inclusion body myositis (IBM) is a distinct subset that usually does not involve the lungs. This report highlights a rare case of inclusion body myositis presenting with pulmonary disease.
