Abstract:
Participatory citizen science aligns with the principles of Open Science, promoting transparency, accessibility, and public engagement in scientific research. Collecting relevant information from the population is important to evaluate epidemiological data, geographical distribution, incidence, and risks associated with allergic reactions to arthropod bites. In this chapter, the methods for implementation of participatory citizen science are described to evaluate risks and interventions to allergic reactions to arthropod bites.
