Abstract:
Reversible Electroporation (rEP) has been a venerable in vitro lab technique for the transfection of cells. Recent in vivo applications of rEP for manipulating tumors and forcing tumor cell expression of proteins of interest are being explored in clinical trials. The ability to perform in vivo rEP in the lab can create translational opportunities and study mechanisms for optimal outcomes in patients. A general protocol is described and may serve as a template for melanoma researchers.
