Abstract:
Structured colloidal lithography's susceptibility to drying effects hinders the development of large, patterned functional macrostructures outside an aqueous environment. We herein report on the optimal parameters to securely adhere self-assembled, previously mobile porous SiO2 microparticles to a glass surface using a photoswitchable azobenzene-containing surfactant in combination with UV light.
