Abstract:
A biocide-free passive defense polyurethane (PDMS-HTPB-SH-PU) with low surface energy achieves near-complete anti-bacterial adhesion (>99%), excellent hydrolytic stability, anti-calcification, cytocompatibility, and robust mechanics (tensile strength 17.4-25.7 MPa), overcoming implant-associated infections and degradation.
