Abstract:
In vitro myelination, involving Schwann cells and dorsal root ganglion neurons, is an indispensable tool for studying the myelination process and evaluating the effects of various interventions under both physiological and pathological conditions in the peripheral nervous system. Here, we describe our DRG explant-based in vitro myelination (IVDME) culture method, which achieves more efficient myelination compared to conventional in vitro approaches.
