Background:
Local non-B DNA structures and R-loops are associated with genome regulation and stability. CpX islands and p53 response elements provide complementary sequence annotations. Exploring these features often requires separate tools and repeated sequence submission.
Main Findings:
DNA Analyser web server integrates G4Hunter, G4Killer, R-loop Tracker, Z-DNA Hunter, pretrained Z-DNABERT models running on CPUs, CpX Hunter and a p53-binding predictor. Palindrome analyser is linked as a separate companion server. Inputs include plain-text or FASTA upload, pasted sequences, multiple-sequence workflows and NCBI retrieval. Outputs include analysis settings, sortable regions, interactive graphics and module-specific exports. Guest and registered users have access to the same analytical functions.
Biological Relevance:
A shared sequence workspace supports examination of structural propensity, nucleotide composition and potential regulatory elements. Predictions identify candidates for further investigation; they do not demonstrate structure formation or biological function in vivo.
Significance:
Integrated access reduces repeated sequence handling and helps researchers explore complementary features of the same genomic region. DNA Analyser is freely accessible through HTTPS without identity registration at https://bioinformatics.ibp.cz/#/.
