Yang, "Injectable and Crosslinkable PLGA-Based Microribbons as 3D Macroporous Stem Cell Niche," Small 16, no. 22 (2020): 1905820, https://doi.org/10.1002/smll.201905820. The above article, published online on 27 April 2020 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), has been retracted by agreement between the journal Editor-in-Chief, Neville Compton; and Wiley-VCH GmbH, Weinheim. The retraction was agreed upon following concerns raised by a third party. An investigation identified several overlaps between the panels presented in Figures 5a and 5b. Additionally, multiple duplications were observed within the panels of Figure 6. Finally, in Figure S2, the panels labelled as 10 µm and 20 µm PLGA appear to show the same image, with the 20 µm panel presented at higher magnification, despite the caption indicating that the panels represented different samples. The authors were contacted multiple times for their comments and supporting data but did not respond. The editors consider the results and conclusions unreliable. The authors did not respond to the retraction notice.
