    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the impact of sympathetic nerve stimulation on bladder and urethral pressure.
    • To determine the effect of sacral and hypogastric denervation on urethral sphincter function.

    • Electrical stimulation of sympathetic fibers at the caudal mesenteric ganglion was performed in 47 cats.
