    Background:

    • The choroid plexus (CP) shares structural similarities with the glomerular basement membrane (GBM).
    • Goodpasture syndrome involves antibodies targeting the GBM, leading to nephritis and pulmonary hemorrhage.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the potential immunologic relationship between the choroid plexus and glomerular basement membrane in autoimmune nephritis.

    • Immunohistologic studies were performed on the choroid plexus from a patient with autoimmune nephritis.
