This study investigated exercise responses in coronary artery disease (CAD) patients. Reduced cardiac output (Q) in CAD subjects correlated with lower oxygen uptake (VO2) and higher venoarterial CO2 difference (Cv-Ca) at 1 and 3 minutes of treadmill exercise.
