[Effect of histamine on blood and lymph coagulability]
Abstract:
It has been established in dog experiments that histamine (0.05 mg/kg) induces a considerable rise in blood coagulation, an increase in prothrombin consumption and plasma tolerance to heparin a diminution of fibrinase content and enhancement of fibrinolysis. Lymph coagulation and fibrinolytic activity remain unchanged.
