    Summary

    Plasma catecholamines are more effective for diagnosing pheochromocytoma than urinary tests like VMA and metanephrines. This study highlights the superior diagnostic accuracy of plasma catecholamine measurements for pheochromocytoma.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To compare the diagnostic utility of plasma catecholamines versus urinary metabolites (VMA and metanephrines) for pheochromocytoma.
