    Summary

    Indomethacin increased adrenal catecholamine secretion during hemorrhage in cats, an effect suppressed by prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) but not prostaglandin F2 alpha (PGF2 alpha). This suggests prostaglandins modulate the stress response to blood loss.
