    Orbital abscesses in newborns are rare but treatable. Prompt surgical intervention led to complete recovery in two infants, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis and management of neonatal orbital infections.

    • Infectious foci identified as conjunctival malformations: a mucosal fistula in one infant and a conjunctival cyst in the other.
    • Causative agents were Staphylococcus aureus and Diplococcus pneumoniae.
