Background:

Calcified constructive pericarditis is a rare condition characterized by stiffening of the pericardium due to calcification.
Isolated hepatomegaly can be a presenting symptom of various underlying conditions, including cardiac and inflammatory diseases.

A 14-year-old male presented with isolated hepatomegaly, with no identifiable cause.
Diagnostic workup revealed calcified constructive pericarditis as the underlying pathology.

The patient's hepatomegaly was directly attributed to the restrictive physiology caused by calcified constructive pericarditis.
