Abstract:
The article deals with the present knowledge of the lipofuscin-formation. Lipofuscin is regarded as a lysosomal residue body and as a product of peroxidation and polymerisation of unsaturated fatty acids. Starting from this aspects conditions are derived, which favour the lipofuscin-formation. These factors are divided into three groups according to their effects.
