[University clinics and specialized hospitals in psychiatric work]
Abstract:
Starting from the importance of theoretical thinking to the development of sciences, the insufficient interrelation between theory and practice in psychiatry is dealt with. This is mainly due to the fact that the traditional model of thinking does not offer a basis for topica problems of psychic and social conditions, rehabilitation, epidemiology and the organisation of the system of the care of psychic patients. The causes originating in the dichotomy in the development of psychiatry in university and specialised hospital are pointed out and possibilities of problem solutions on a theoretical and institutional level are discussed.
