    • Both cases developed secondary to the application of handcuffs.

    Findings:

    • Handcuff placement can be a direct cause of cheiralgia paresthetica.
    • This suggests mechanical compression of the lateral brachial cutaneous nerve by handcuffs.

    • Awareness of this etiology is crucial for medical professionals and law enforcement.
    • Proper handcuffing techniques may prevent iatrogenic nerve injury.
    • Further research into nerve entrapment syndromes secondary to restraint devices is warranted.
