[Evaluation of intestinal parasitoses found in Algerians (1971-1975)]

A high incidence of intestinal parasitism was found in and around Algiers: out of 4,334 cases tested, 1,387 (about one third) were positive. The authors consider this to be a conservative estimate. The figures quoted will be revised, if necessary, on the results of a systematic survey at present under way.
