Abstract:
Dicyclohexylamine and related amino compounds as well as some simple secondary amines with branched aliphatic substituents were found to decrease blood glucose levels of fasted, glucose-loaded, or streptozotocin-diabetic rats, and of fasted mice. Structure-activity relationships are discussed.
