[Experimental study of the immunotherapy of burns]

Experiments were conducted on rats. After the burn the blood serum and the extracts of the organs acquired toxic properties; there was an increase in the activity of proteolytic enzymes, and marked morphological changes developed Administration of the serum of aburn convalescent promoted detoxication, diminished the activity of proteolytic enzymes distinctly, and decreased the morphological disturbances.
