[Acute isoniazid poisoning in a young child (author's transl)]

We present a case of ioniazid poisoning in a two year old otherwise healthy male. Problems with history and diagnosis characteristical of such cases are discussed along with current views on the pathogenesis and therapy. A suggestion is put forward to help to avoid future similar accidents which--although very rare--are extremely dangerous.
