Abstract:
An observation of long-term periarteritis nodosa (15 years) in a girl of 19 is described. Despite massive hormonal therapy leading to the development of the Icenko-Cushing syndrome, the disease ran its course with numerous exacerbations which produced significant changes in organs and tissues. The death was due to adrenal insufficiency during an episode of the disease exacerbation.
