The results of surgical therapy for bilateral maldescended testes
Abstract:
The age at surgical intervention, always bilateral, was 11-12 years, following the same technique and in 85% by the same surgeon. Out of the total of 285 men, 190 submitted to a follow-up examination and 141 sperm analyses were obtained; 25% azoospermia, 55% oligospermia and 20% normospermia. Out of a total of 107 married men, 39 had fathered one or more children.
