[Proteolysis inhibitors in the treatment of diffuse suppurative peritonitis]

Proteolysis inhibitors such as trasilol, contrical were used for the treatment of 88 patients with diffuse peritonitis. This measure contributed to abolishing the intoxication, better hemodynamics and recovery of the intestinal peristalsis. Ten patients died of 88 (11,3%).
