[Morphological differentiation of human spermatozoa using pre-prepared methods. Comparative studies]
Abstract:
Two industrially pre-prepared staining techniques and their suitability for the morphological differentiation of human spermatozoa are compared with each other using 227 ejaculations. One method uses a dye-coated microscope slide and the other method uses a dye-coated staining foil. Both methods are suitable for morphological differentiation. The advantage of the Testsimplet preparation is that it is easy to produce. Its disadvantage is the limited stability of the preparation, which is 2--4 hours at room temperature and up to 40 hours at -18 degrees Celsius. The Sangodiff G preparation is somewhat more difficult to produce, but this results in preparations which are suitable for filing a s permanent preparations. With regard to statistical evaluation of the findings obtained from both methods, the preceding investigations represent an almost total agreement.
