    Background:

    • Alpha-1-microglobulin (A1M) is a human plasma protein with diverse biological functions.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To isolate and characterize a potential rat homolog of human alpha-1-microglobulin (A1M).
    • To compare the biochemical and immunological properties of the isolated rat protein with human A1M.
