A technique to detect the reaction between poliovirus structural polypeptides and neutralizing anti-polio IgG

Electrophoretically separated poliovirus capsid proteins were blotted on nitrocellulose membranes. A method for the immunological identification of the blotted polypeptides was developed. No reaction could be detected by this method between individualized poliovirus structural polypeptides and neutralizing anti-polio antibodies.
