[Use of a collalysine preparation in histochemical practice]

The possibility of employing collalysin used in clinical practice for histochemical studies was explored. Collalysin which is a highly purified bacterial collagenase has a marked collagenolytic effect and, unlike commercial collagenases, exerts no nonspecific effect on collagen fibers.
