    Summary

    Thermography did not show significant inflammation improvement after joint irrigation during arthroscopy in 14 patients. However, patients with chondrocalcinosis reported better subjective outcomes.

    Background:

    • Joint irrigation is a procedure performed during arthroscopy.
    • Thermography is used to assess joint inflammation.
    • Chondrocalcinosis is a condition involving calcium crystal deposition in cartilage.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the effectiveness of joint irrigation in reducing joint inflammation using thermography.
    • To assess subjective patient outcomes after arthroscopic joint irrigation.

    • Thermographic imaging was performed before and after joint irrigation in 14 patients undergoing arthroscopy.
