    Area of Science:

    • Neurology
    • Infectious Diseases
    • Mycology

    Background:

    • Intracranial aspergillosis is a rare but frequently fatal central nervous system infection.
    • Fungal brain abscesses, particularly those caused by Aspergillus species, present significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges.

    Observation:

    • A case of a right temporal intracerebral abscess caused by Aspergillus is presented.
    • The patient's clinical presentation and diagnostic imaging findings are detailed.

    Findings:

    • Successful treatment of the right temporal intracerebral aspergillus abscess was achieved.
    • The therapeutic strategy employed led to a positive patient outcome.

    Implications:

    • This case highlights the possibility of successful outcomes in managing intracranial aspergillosis.
    • Effective treatment protocols for Aspergillus brain abscesses can improve patient survival rates.
    • Further research into optimal management strategies for rare intracranial fungal infections is warranted.
