    Summary

    This study introduces a novel solid-phase immunoassay for detecting rheumatoid factor without requiring tagged proteins. The assay shows promise in identifying rheumatoid factor in rheumatoid arthritis patients, including those seronegative by standard tests.

    Background:

    • Rheumatoid factor (RF) is a key biomarker in rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
    • Current diagnostic methods for RF can have limitations in sensitivity.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To develop and evaluate a novel solid-phase immunoassay for rheumatoid factor detection.
    • To assess the assay's performance compared to a standard latex-fixation test.
