    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the efficacy and safety of propafenone in treating hemodynamically unstable ventricular arrhythmias.
    • To assess the predictive value of acute drug testing and electrophysiologic studies for long-term therapy outcomes.

    Main Methods:

    • Propafenone was administered to 30 patients with diverse heart conditions and ventricular arrhythmias.
    • Efficacy was assessed using ambulatory electrocardiographic monitoring, exercise testing, and invasive electrophysiologic studies.
