Traumatic lung cysts following minor blunt chest trauma

Relatively minor chest trauma may cause lung cysts. The authors illustrate two patients in whom lung cysts were seen on chest radiographs taken within hours of injury. The condition may thus mimic rupture of the diaphragm with herniation of the bowel.
