Abstract:
A biopsied specimen of a pink lesion on the knee of a 21-year-old woman showed histologic features of subepidermal vesicular dermatitis. Further studies disclosed diagnostic features of malignant melanoma in situ, and additional clinical data corroborated the diagnosis.
