Astrovirus in South Africa. A case report
Abstract:
Astrovirus was identified in stool samples from a 6-month-old White infant up to 8 days after the onset of gastro-enteritis. Large immune aggregates were found after treatment of the faecal specimen with pooled human immunoglobulin.
