[Isolation and several properties of neurospecific antigen D]
Abstract:
Neurospecific protein, antigen D, homogeneous under disk electrophoresis in polyacrylamide gel (PAAG) is isolated from the bull brain tissue. Its molecular mass determined by the method of electrophoresis in PAAG with DS-Na is 53 kDa. A pure antigen D preparation possesses enolase activity and its electrophoretic characteristic corresponds to that of this enzyme gamma gamma-type isoform. Electrophoretic, immunologic and enzymatic properties of antigen D and protein 14-3-2 made it possible to make a conclusion on their identity.
