    Background:

    • Killer (K)-cell activity is crucial for adaptive immunity, mediating antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC).
    • Previous research has not fully elucidated the extent of K-cell function across different mammalian species.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the presence and extent of K-cell activity in rabbit lymphoid cells.
    • To compare rabbit K-cell activity with that of hamster leukocytes, a known source of K cells.
    • To determine if a deficiency in rabbit K-cell activity is due to a lack of Fc receptor-positive cells or suppressor mechanisms.
