Successful auditory brainstem evoked response testing and test-age relationships in difficult-to-test children

Thirty-five difficult-to-test children under 4 years of age, suspected of hearing loss, were evaluated via auditory brainstem evoked response audiometry (ABR). Results indicated that the success of ABR without anaesthesia in such a population is enhanced by early referral.
