    Summary

    Hypersensitivity reactions to topical corticosteroids Tixocortol pivalate and Amcinonide were observed in nine female patients. All patients presented with symptoms consistent with allergic contact dermatitis.

    • Topical corticosteroids are widely used for dermatological conditions.

    • To report cases of hypersensitivity to Tixocortol pivalate and Amcinonide.
    • To describe the clinical presentation of these reactions.

    • Six cases of hypersensitivity to Tixocortol pivalate were identified.
    • Three cases of hypersensitivity to Amcinonide were identified.

    • Tixocortol pivalate and Amcinonide can cause hypersensitivity reactions.
    • Contact dermatitis is a common presentation of corticosteroid hypersensitivity.
