A series of 1-substituted N,N'-di-2-pyrimidinyl (or pyrazinyl)methylenediamines were synthesized as potential antitumor agents. The compounds were tested on lymphocytic murine leukemia P 388. The active 1-(2-chlorophenyl)-N,N'-(2-pyrazinyl)methylenediamine (IX) was also tested on other experimental tumors.
