Abstract:
Magnetic resonance is potentially a second imaging modality that can be used to study the fetal cardiovascular system. Magnetic resonance imaging to date has not been associated with any harmful effects and, since it does not involve ionizing radiation, we are evaluating its role in fetal imaging. We report a case in which this modality showed the unique features of the cardiovascular system.
