    • Comparative Pathology
    • Oral Oncology

    Background:

    • Ameloblastic odontoma is a rare odontogenic tumor.
    • Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial for managing canine neoplasms.

    Observation:

    • A 10-week-old female Springer Spaniel presented with an ameloblastic odontoma in the right maxilla.
    • The tumor was surgically treated via extensive curettage.

    Findings:

    • Post-surgical follow-up at 12 months revealed no recurrence of the ameloblastic odontoma.
    • Curettage was an effective treatment for this specific case.

    Implications:

    • This case highlights successful management of ameloblastic odontoma in a juvenile dog.
    • Effective surgical intervention can lead to favorable long-term outcomes for canine odontogenic tumors.
