[Bromhexine in symptomatic treatment of Sjögren syndrome]

In a group of 11 patients with Sjögren's syndrome bromhexine improved tear secretion in 7 cases and salivary secretion in 4. The efficacy of the drug, in particular in patients in whom the syndrome has been present for a short time, was thus confirmed.
