    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the utility of high-resolution computed tomography (CT) in detecting intraocular calcification in retinoblastoma.
    • To determine the correlation between CT findings and histological evidence of calcification.
    • To assess the diagnostic value of CT-detected calcification in differentiating retinoblastoma from simulating lesions in young children.

    Main Methods:

    • Retrospective review of high-resolution computed tomography (CT) scans from 33 patients with retinoblastoma.
